About the IAP
Who We Are
What distinguishes IAP from many other characterization facilities, is that our staff develop meaningful relationships with our industry partners to understand their technology and their business. We listen to a company's challenges and recommend appropriate characterization and analysis solutions quickly and with minimal administrative burden. When the necessary equipment is not available within UConn IMS, we connect our partners to UConn units that possess the required capabilities.
How We Work
IAP primarily works with industry partners through an annual membership. We also welcome individual project requests, which can be an excellent way to get to know our capabilities. Membership provides access to essential scientific and technical resources within UConn IMS core labs with input from faculty specializing in specific subject matter when necessary.
While we accept non-member project requests on a case-by-case basis, many companies find membership in IAP to be an invaluable resource that fosters a more intimate, long-term working relationship. Through membership, UConn IMS grows to become an integral part of the company's technical team and a problem-solving partner.
